I recently took my Citroën to Gippsland Motor Group – Citroën Service for a gearbox issue. I clearly explained that the car has a cold-start gear selection problem (N and R not engaging unless the car warms up). They kept my car for half a day and charged me $215 for inspection and service. When I returned, I was told the issue was caused by a “loose connection” near the steering wheel gear lever. Unfortunately, the problem was not fixed at all. The next morning the exact same issue happened again. When I contacted them, they told me I needed to rebook the car and would be charged again, even though the original problem was never diagnosed properly or repaired. I am disappointed with the lack of proper diagnosis and being asked to pay again for the same unresolved issue. Sharing this so others are aware and can make informed choices.
