    - KIA Peter Warren I bought a brand new KIA in 2024. My car just broke down due to manufacture fault. Lucky it is still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty with Kia Australia. My experience with Kia Australia itself was excellent. They responded promptly, came to my home, and arranged for my vehicle to be towed because it was no longer drivable. The process was smooth and professional. However, once my car was towed/delivered to Peter Warren Kia, the experience became very disappointing. On the first Monday after my car was towed, I received a call confirming that they had received my vehicle. I was told they were waiting for a technician to inspect it and that I should have an update within approximately two days. During that week, no update was made to me at all. The following Monday, I had to call for an update. I was informed that the issue was confirmed to be a manufacturing fault and not caused by me. The staff member advised that the required parts would arrive within three days and that my car would be repaired by the end of the week. Despite my car being off the road for over a week due to a manufacturing defect, I was not offered a loan vehicle. Today (Friday), I called again for another update. This time I was told that the parts had still not arrived and that the repair would now be delayed until next week. I again asked whether a loan car could be provided, but I was told, unfortunately, that they could not offer one. After my husband left a review about our experience, Peter Warren Kia contacted us and offered a five-seater loan vehicle while my car was being repaired. Unfortunately, this was not suitable for our family. I purchased a Kia Carnival specifically because it is a seven-seater, as we have four children. A five-seater does not meet our family’s needs, so we were unable to accept the offer. As a result, we have been left without a suitable vehicle throughout the repair period. My overall impression is that the level of customer service changes significantly after the sale. The focus seems to be on making the sale, but when a customer needs support under warranty, the level of care is disappointing. I found the staff member’s attitude to be unprofessional. When I asked about a loan car, she responded in a dismissive manner, saying, “So again, no loan car for you,” which came across as rude and lacking empathy, especially given that my vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty and has been undrivable. Over the years, I have purchased five or six vehicles from Peter Warren, including three brand-new cars—a Volvo, a Honda, and a Kia. As a long-term customer, I expected much better service. This experience has made me seriously reconsider whether I will purchase another vehicle from Peter Warren in the future.
